What is a team email workspace, and how is it different from regular email?
A team email workspace lets multiple members share addresses like support@ or sales@, with a shared inbox, shared conversation context, and role-based read/write permissions. Nestiel adds automatic threading, AI drafting, and per-recipient personalization on top.
How does Nestiel send and receive email?
All email IO goes over the Resend HTTP API — Nestiel does not connect to SMTP or IMAP directly. SMTP is used only to deliver login one-time codes. It's built for teams already on their own domain with a Resend account.
Where is my email data stored? Does the platform read it?
Email metadata, conversations, and org data live in PostgreSQL. Attachment binaries live in object storage (Aliyun OSS or S3-compatible). In the hosted edition, we operate the infrastructure; in the self-hosted edition, everything runs inside your own systems — we don't touch it.
Is AI email drafting included?
Nestiel doesn't charge extra for AI. Translation, AI drafting, and personal-at-scale all rely on an OpenAI-compatible LLM API key you configure at the org level — the model provider bills you directly for usage.
How does Nestiel protect deliverability during bulk sends?
In 'separate sending' mode, each recipient gets a standalone email on a tunable 1–10 minute cadence, with pause and resume from the send-task panel. Deliverability health monitors delivered, opened, clicked, and bounced in real time — meaningfully reducing spam risk.
How much does it cost? Can I upgrade?
The free plan includes 100 sends per calendar month, shared across the whole team, with every core capability open. Higher volume, self-hosted deployment, and inbox warm-up services are arranged offline — contact the developer.
